Armadale Arts Festival ready to dazzle again

The Armadale Arts Festival returns once again this May, with an exciting lineup of favourites and new events. Beginning on Friday 2 May 2025, and running through to Sunday 18 May 2025, this remains one of highlights of the City of Armadale’s event program.

Mayor Ruth Butterfield said: “The City always loves this time of year, when the Armadale Arts Festival kicks off, and we get to share a diverse line up of fantastic talent, in an event packed schedule. 

“The City is delighted to present the ‘Fairy Door Quest’, a new trail that encourages the young and young at heart, to enjoy the local parks (Minnawarra and Memorial), finishing at a local café to enjoy a tasty treat. This is just one of our many offerings, and I hope you can take part and celebrate the arts with us this year.”

The renowned Minnawarra Art Awards kick off the festival, featuring some of the best artists from all over Western Australia. Since the first awards in 1997, the Minnawarra Art Awards continue to raise the bar for local and statewide artistic talent. 

‘Armadale’s Got Talent’ has it’s inaugural Arts Festival start, open to solo acts, groups, ensembles and choirs, as we set to uncover the hidden talents in the City.

Respected local musical Rachel John will be taking part in several events, including ‘A Little Night Music’ with the Classic Sounds Orchestra. Rachel and the Orchestra will perform a continuous performance (with no intermission), accompanied by narration, as they take you on a musical journey through history.

For those that love a laugh the ‘Headliners Comedy Gala’ will provide an opportunity to see some great stand up comics right here in Armadale.
